Special Features

The Windows environment is ideal for quickly drawing the pipe network and boundary conditions. A pipeline can literally be drawn in minutes. The network may be a simple pipeline with multiple pipes or a complex looped distribution network.

Hytran can attempt a steady state analysis before a transient run and then save the results as the start conditions prior to a transient analysis.

Hytran carries out extensive hysraulic checks to ensure the start conditions are consistent. A run-in time may be used to smooth out minor transients caused by inconsisitency in the input data. A special benefit of the real time trasnient display is that suspect transients can be spotted immedialtely in the form of erratic and sudden appearances of spikes.

Drawing the network (Metric or English Units)
